Brand Masters is now officially certified organic!
Organic products are here to stay. In fact: the demand for them continues to rise! It is therefore good news that Brand Masters officially holds the organic certificate since March 2022, after a successful audit by Skal Bio Controle. This certificate has great advantages for our suppliers and customers. Apart from the fact that we are allowed to trade organic certified products, it also guarantees that all raw materials of organic products come from a fully regulated chain. It is also a great opportunity for our own BrandLab; they have the opportunity to develop more products and expand the range of organic products.
Across the chain
As a supplier, do you want to supply an organic product? Then these products may only be traded by companies that are certified organic. In doing so, attention is paid to the entire chain. From the products used in recipes to the warehouse where products are stored; all links in the chain must be certified. In addition, risk analysis is important. For the organization it must be clear which hazards may occur within each process step and especially how to prevent them. Brand Masters therefore has the responsibility to control the entire process at all times to ensure quality.
From purchasing to sales
The moment the organic products are purchased and arrive at our warehouse, an additional entry check takes place. Here we check, among other things, whether the sales designation of the product contains a reference to organic and whether there is a code/number of the organic inspection organization on the packaging. Then everything is registered upon entry. If a product is to be stored, it must be clearly visible that it is organic. Finally, once the product is sold and leaves the warehouse, it is clearly stated on the invoice and delivery note that it is an organic product, including the inspection number of Skal Bio Controle.
Always up to date
Peter Hordijk, QA Manager at Brand Masters, was responsible for obtaining the organic certification. "Not only Brand Masters BV is certified, but also our warehouses in the Netherlands and France meet the set requirements." Once in possession of the label, however, its monitoring does not stop. In order to maintain the organic certification, an annual audit takes place to check whether Brand Masters still meets the laws and regulations. These laws and regulations are closely monitored by the QA department. Are there any changes? Then they immediately look at how they will be implemented.

At Brand Masters, we continue to innovate. Obtaining organic certification is fully in line with what we believe in and offers concrete opportunities. This allows BrandLab, the department responsible for product development and innovation, to work on expanding their assortment. From concept to realization; nothing stands in their way anymore!
